Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a very useful tool in slave training and bdsm scene play. Aspects of hypnotic domination and control can help to train a slave to serve, obey and please. Some of the very basic concepts of hypnosis are the “General rules of the mind” and “Laws of suggestion.” Knowledge of each helps in the successful use of hypnosis in slave training. They aid a Master in preparing proper platter (script) to use during the hypnotic induction (under hypnosis or hypnotic trance). Hypnosis is not always used in the BDSM lifestyle or slave training. No matter how a Master uses hypnosis during bdsm play or slave training some basic concepts of hypnotic induction should be learned and practiced.

Hypnosis: General Rules of the Mind:

Below are listed general rules that apply the subconscious mind.

 1) Every thought, idea, or core belief causes emotional and physical reaction: How we perceive and value things causes feelings and reactions. A headache can be caused by stress. Stress can be caused by how we perceive and value an event or action. It’s the old idea that “first we think, then we feel, then we act”. When an event happens, it’s what we think about it, consciously or subconsciously that governs our feelings and physical reaction.

 2) When dealing with the subconscious mind, imagination is more powerful than knowledge: This is a general statement, which is often useful. However, it is not a 100 percent rule. Often the logical dispute of a faulty belief is more useful. However, it can be useful in composing suggestions.

 3) Once a belief has been accepted by the subconscious mind, it remains until it is replaced by different one:

4) The longer a belief remains in the subconscious mind, the harder it is to replace it with a new belief: This is why logical dispute is also helpful in changing an idea or belief. Also affecting this rule is how well it is supported by other ideas and beliefs. Some beliefs require that you also believe in something else for it to remain powerful.

5) Emotions can cause symptoms (headaches, fears, upset stomach) and can lead to an organic change over an extended period. Willpower and Imagination:

6) Imagination can be directed:

7) If willpower and imagination are in in agreement, one does not just add to the other but is multiplied by the other: This is the most powerful force for change.

8) If willpower is in conflict with imagination:

A) Imagination is stronger.

B) If willpower grows stronger, imagination grows stronger as well.

General Laws of Suggestion:

(Introduced by Charles Baudoin in 1921) I will call them laws because that is what they are commonly called, however the first three have many exceptions to the rules.

They are more like general go-by.

1) The law of concentrated attention: When a person’s attention is concentrated on an idea, that idea tends to be expressed physically or mentally.

2) The law of reverse effect: When a person thinks he cannot do something and then tries, the harder he tries, the less able he is to do it.

3) The law of auxiliary emotions: Attaching a strong emotion to a suggestion will make the suggestion more effective and will dominate other suggestions in the mind. Three additional Laws of suggestions, proposed by Andre’ M Weitzenhoffer.

4) The law of temporal precedence: All things being equal, the suggestion given first will have precedence over the other suggestions.

5) The law of impressionable precedence: All things being equal, the suggestion being impressed the most has precedence.

6) The law of depth precedence: All things being equal, the suggestion given in the greatest depth of hypnosis (hypnotic suggestibility) will have precedence over the others. Other General laws of Suggestions:

7) The law of acceptance: Each suggestion that is accepted and completed tends to reduce opposition to any successive suggestions.

8) The law of expectancy:

 A) If the subject expects that in hypnosis, she will accept suggestions and change attitudes, it tends to happen more easily.

 B) Also, if one expects to be hypnotized and allows themselves to be hypnotized they will be hypnotized.

As you can see these rules and laws can be applied to slave training.
