The Super Human Master
There is no such thing in reality as the Super Human Master. When we first start exploring this world of fantasy, the way we usually learn is through books and the internet. There are some wonderful fantasy books out there and I have read most of them, but that’s what they are – Fantasy. Read them, fantasize and get hot and wet, but don’t think that you are going to find the Market Place that Laurie Antoinette speaks of in her series of slave books or the wonderful palace where beauty lived in the Ann Rice books. Of course the only exception is on the internet where a person can be anything they want to be, but don’t be disappointed if when you meet a Master for the first time, you discover that He is just a mere mortal that bleeds and feels with no super human powers (other than the whip or cane)

Having to Say Your Sorry
There have been several times (most in the initial stages of training) when my Master has admitted to a mistake or apologized for hurting His property (emotionally or physically). We all come into this relationship with a lot of baggage and it takes time for it all to come to the surface. One example that comes to mind is when my Master slapped me for the first time. It caused a VERY negative reaction due to past experiences. We had discussed slapping before hand but I was unaware that it would cause such a reaction in me. After He calmed me down and we could talk He agreed that although i have no limits He would not do this to me again. One night (over a year later) i was very upset and His reaction was to slap me and try to bring me back to reality. As you can imagine, this was the wrong reaction and did not get Him the reaction He expected. This caused me to go into further hysterics because He had promised He wouldn’t do this. For a moment, my trust was broken, He lied!! After we both calmed down and could talk about it, He apologized and explained that it was just a gut reaction when someone has gone that far into an emotional state. Did the fact that He admitted to making a mistake make me loose all respect for Him as a Master? Absolutely not! The fact that He could admit this to His slave shows how strong and secure He is in His dominance and also that He is human and subject to mistakes.
