Single Tails:

This can be one of the most fun toys used in the BDSM lifestyle.    It takes practice to safely use it, but the time spent learning to use it properly is well worth the effort.

Purchasing a good single tail is worth the high front end cost, because the quality is very important.

Note that the whip shown in the top left photograph is a "stock whip."  I don't recommend purchasing one, if it's your only whip.  The picture above is a bull whip but is too long for most BDSM lifestyle uses.   In my opinion, you'd be better off with a 4' bullwhip,  4' snake, or a 3' or 4' signal whip.    A signal whip is easy to learn how to use and is a good starter.

Personally, I like a 4'  Snake whip,  but that's just me.
